Joy graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1990 and was awarded an MSc in Health Sciences in 1999. She currently works part time as a senior NHS clinician treating patients with a variety of conditions. Joy also sees patients privately in Formby. Since qualifying Joy has regularly attended post graduate training courses in order to maintain and update her knowledge and skills. She is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
